PRESS SERVICE

ASK TO SEE THE PROGRAMME

We are always organizing some event or other: the simplest for you is to see how you and your newsworthy events can find a place in our calendar of media operations

Just ask us what’s happening now!

WORKING TOGETHER

The Press Service of the European Research & Innovation Exhibition is at your disposal to help you make timely and effective communications and optimize your presence at the Exhibition whilst taking advantage of an ever-growing collective dynamic.

The Press Service offers to distribute your press books and press releases at the Exhibition. You should bring them to us at the Press Service (porte de Versailles - Hall 7.1) before 5 p.m. on the day before the Exhibition opens.

Note: You should be ready to provide a regular supply of press books and deliver to us between 30 and 50 a day only (We do not have the space to keep a stock of 150 press books for every exhibitor)

PRACTICAL TIPS FOR YOUR PRESENTING YOUR NEWS TO THE PRESS

TIP N°1

Let us know as soon as possible the name and contact details of the person in charge of your     press relations and who will be our contact.

At the same time, tell us if you have “something really new in 2007” and, if possible, provide us with a press release. Alternatively tell us what is your major theme this year.

TIP N°2
The Press Service does not handle sales or marketing information. The documents provided should relate facts and provide supporting arguments.

THE GOLDEN RULE

Documents destined for the press absolutely must be Clear, Short and Concise.

  • A press release should be kept to a maximum of 25 lines.
  • A press book should include a list of contents allowing the journalists to “choose” the information they want. It is better to include illustrations.
  • An “impression” or an opinion is not news. Don’t forget to date your information. Any product, service, dossier or project that did not exist at the time of last year’s European Research & Innovation Exhibition is considered new. It is therefore less than a year old. Finally, projects are just as interesting as achievements. So give them some space too!

Don’t overlook your International projects: this is an international exhibition welcoming many visitors and journalists from abroad. Remember to prepare English as well as French versions of your documents.

 PRESS  INVITATIONS DURING THE EXHIBITION

During the Exhibition, a complete team is on hand to receive the journalists from all countries expected for the 3 days.

If you are organizing an event, please let us know beforehand. In that way we shall be able to publicize it and send you the interested journalists. The Press Service is there for you. So don’t hesitate to contact us.
